Our Program

A Bible2School Program Serving R.K. Mellon
Ligonier Valley’s Bible2School program serves the 2nd graders attending R.K. Mellon Elementary School. Children are bused from their school on Thursdays during the day to Covenant Presbyterian Church for the Bible2School program. During the 2022-2023 school year, the program will run from October 6th – April 27th.

How It Works

Bible2School is a program that provides free elective Bible classes to elementary school children attending public school during the school day. The children walk or are bused to a nearby church or partner location where trained volunteers engage the children in lively worship and Bible stories. Children and volunteers discuss how they can apply the Bible lessons in their lives and pray together.
